Enfield’s Holiday Activities and Food Programme (HAF) is fully funded by The Department for Education (DfE) and offers lots of fun ideas for keeping active, being creative and trying something new over the Easter, summer and winter school holidays.
Children and young people in receipt of benefit related free school meals can receive up to 4 days of free fun and nutritious food during the Easter and winter holidays and up to 16 days during the summer holidays.
There are lots of different activities available for children to choose from each day at our programmes.
Our team of experienced sports coaches and activity co-ordinators deliver a variety of sporting activities such as world cup football tournaments, athletics competitions, dodgeball games and dance routines.
Alongside our sports activities, we also run arts and crafts sessions, junk modelling and yoga. We also encourage the children to demonstrate their culinary skills and get involved with making health snacks.
All children will be provided with a healthy lunch and snack each day.
In order to book places for your child/children at an activity, you will need to be in receipt of a HAF voucher. Enfield schools will issue these vouchers to eligible families who are in receipt of benefits related free school meals.
Once vouchers have been issued, you will receive a text/email (or both), from Holiday Activities/hello@holidayactivities.com to say that you have been issued a voucher - check your junk/spam folder.
If you haven't received your HAF voucher and your child's school is closed due to the school holidays, email haf@enfield.gov.uk.
Each child will have credits on their vouchers which are used to book activities. The number of credits given is dependent on the holiday period, for example, for winter programmes, there will be 4 credits available to use for bookings. For more information on how to book places, visit Holiday Activities.
